I love to create simple drawing tools that are very specific. Instead of trying to solve every drawing problem for everyone, they might solve a very narrow problem just for you.

This sketch a face drawing tool. It evolved from somewhat, from drawing with simple lines to drawing with images, and in the end, faces.

Initially, the tool used only simple geometric lines and colors to draw with. This was nice but a bit too abstract for what I was going for.

When I made the faces align and black and white the final composition became stronger and more coherent.

So what's going on? After drawing a block, it slowly snaps to its position in the grid. However, the original mouse coordinates are stored and used for determining the image offset. This is why you see these glitchy images appear.
